The boys are on Spring Break this week. This is the first year I can remember that I wasn't counting down the days for it to get here. The boys love school and were actually a little upset to learn they didn't go at all this week and they really aren't gone enough for me to look forward to the break. But we have a fun week planned anyway.
On Saturday, we had some 1:1 time with the boys, well almost. Mike took Griffin to the movies to see Horton Hears a Who (Thomas thought it might be scary so he refused to go, yes this is the boy who loves pow
er rangers, etc.. and he thought Dr Seuss might be scary). They also went to lunch and to buy Griffin a bike helmet. While they were gone I took Thomas and Lucas to the Children's Museum. It was fun to take just him so we could do all of the things he likes. His favorites right now are the Dinosaurs and Scienceworks.
Today we went with my sister-in-law and her kids to the zoo. It was a perfect zoo day! It wasn't very crowded and the weather was wonderful! The kids all did great and we saw almost everything. We are going back to the museum on wednesday with my friend Amy and her 3 kids. Friday we are having 2 boys (they are brothers the same ages as my boys and in their preschool classes) over for a playdate. And I'm sure we'll spend lots of time outside this week - as long as it doesn't rain.

That sounds like a very fun week!
Sound like a great day at the zoo. And it's cool that you both got 1 on 1 time. We all need that sometimes.
Sounds like fun plans!!
