The boys were on Fall Break last week. It was nice having them home more and getting to sleep in a little. The highlight of the break was our day trip to Kings Island on Saturday. We had been talking about going for awhile but finally decided to do it late last week. I'm so glad we did, we had a great time! They had lots of Halloween activities for the kids. One of the funniest things I saw was in the dance party area, Barney Ruble was doing the Thriller dance. I thought it was hilarious, but of course it was totally lost on the boys who have no idea who Barney Ruble is or what the Thriller dance is. They loved riding the rides. Thomas actually rode a few of the bigger rides out of the kid area which surprised me since he was scared of some very non-scary things at Disney last year. It was a great day with no fighting, tantrums, and minimal whining. Lucas even managed to be in a good mood all day with only a 30min nap in the stroller. And on the way home we stopped at Ikea!! I have been wanting to go forever and I couldn't pass up the chance. It was overwhelming! There was so much to see and I was already exhausted from Kings Island, so I'll have to go back when I have more energy and time (and money wouldn't hurt!) The boys are still talking about the childcare area. What a great idea! Here are a few pictures from the day.

Oh wow, that was a busy day!! I used to love KI, I haven't been in so long.
Really though, never make IKEA a sidenote - it has to have it's own trip!! You need a good 5 hours at least to take it all in, because otherwise you might miss that thingamadoo you really needed!
Oh wow - it looks like everyone had a great time. I am so happy you were able to make it to Ikea.
