Is it really necessary to make it so difficult to get toys out of their packages?? Two of the toys Griffin got for his birthday had those twisty things AND screws. You should not have to use a screw driver to get a toy out of a box!
Griffin had his 3yr check up today. He did so good- actually all 3 did really well while we were there. He was so brave. He sat really still while they took his blood pressure even though Thomas told him it would "get tight and hurt". Luckily he didn't seem to mind. He sat still for his shot too and didn't want to sit on my lap. He did cry a little bit after it was over, but calmed down when he saw his bandaid. Several hours later at home he got a sad look on his face and said "that lady gave me shot in my arm". His appointment went well and his dr said he's doing great! He weighed 33lbs and is 38.5". Now onto the dentist tomorrow....
In other news- we are going to Disney World again! I'm not sure when but most likely Nov or Dec of this year. Yes we are going there again and yes with a baby. We think it's great timing for many reasons. A few are: weather, lower crowds, ages of the boys (we are going to "move" Griffin's bday so he'll still be free), Lucas is still young enough to sleep in the stroller and not need a bed for a nap. We bought our park tickets over the weekend b/c prices went up on sunday and we wanted to save some $$. Luckily they don't expire so we aren't locked into dates yet. But we hope to finalize plans soon. I think we are going to keep it a secret and not tell the boys for awhile. We'll probably try to figure out a fun way to tell them for Thomas' bday in Nov.
Speaking of money, the bills for having Lucas keep coming in! I don't remember the other boys costing so much. I'm really thankful that I didn't quit my job before maternity leave. That short term disability $ is coming in really handy right now. It was a great purchase though :)
