MLK

Thomas came home from school today with an art project as usual. It was like 2 puzzle pieces and drawings on them and a quote from MLK that the teacher wrote. So I asked him to tell me about it.... he said in an excited voice "Mom, there was a man who was kind of like God, but he wasn't God. He was actually a king but he didn't have a crown." I tried telling him a little about MLK, but he was ready to move on to talk about the differences between crown and crayon. These kids crack me up! I am curious about their discussion in school though. I might try to get more out of him again later.
