I'm finally getting around to writing about Christmas. It was great and I'm sad that it's all over. It's been a really busy week, but we all had so much fun. Yesterday was my last celebration and now we can just relax this week. On Christmas Eve we went to my Aunt and Uncle's to celebrate with my Dad's family. We got home late that night so we put out milk and cookies then put the boys straight to bed. Before we went that night they opened their Christmas Eve gift of pj's and a book. We usually do it at night but we knew we'd be getting home so late. They were sooooo excited on Christmas morning. I love watching them come downstairs to check out the gifts. They loved everything but Thomas was most excited about the Wii (that is supposed to be for all of us) and Griffin was most excited about Pokemon. Lucas wasn't too into unwrapping at first, but was excited to see some new Elmo stuff and hotwheels. We stayed home the whole day day which was wonderful! Mike's parents came over in the evening to exchange gifts. My Dad and Janet came over on Friday. My Dad also likes the Wii and thinks he needs one now. Saturday we went to Erica's for lunch and for the kids to exchange gifts. Saturday night we had Mike's whole family over for dinner. It was our first time hosting a holiday. It was a lot of work, but fun. We were so busy that day that we didn't really get to enjoy the practically tropical weather that we had. It was so warm! We had our windows open all day. Last night Erica and I went out to celebrate. We had dinner at Benihana and then went to the movies to see Slumdog Millionaire.

Christmas
It's been nice having the kids home from school. Mike has had a lot more time off than usual too which has been great. He only works Monday and Tuesday this week then will be off again. We are planning on painting our upstairs bonus room and putting in some new shelves or something to keep the toys more organized.
Here are some pictures from Christmas:
